Short-Term Medical Insurance
Short-term medical insurance, or temporary health insurance, answers a very real need for your clients. Those who don’t yet qualify for Medicare because of their age or citizenship status, people between jobs and looking for a lower-cost alternative to COBRA, newly-employed clients waiting for a benefits package to kick in, students just graduating or looking for a new job, new immigrants to the United States, or those who cannot qualify for a major medical policy due to high costs or pre-existing conditions…all of these people are your potential market. Plus, clients who have been previously denied coverage, won’t necessarily be disqualified from these plans since they don’t ask a “decline” question! All of these people can be served with a short-term medical plan—and you can be the one to help them.
International Health and Travel Insurance
In an increasingly global marketplace, our brokers have the ability to insure clients traveling abroad for work, play, volunteer work or emigrating. This opportunity shouldn’t be ignored. Your market includes not only US citizens traveling outside of the US, but US citizens traveling within the US, foreign nationals visiting loved ones in the US, traveling on business or for temporary work, as well as foreign nationals traveling anywhere in the world, not just to the US. Available plans include travel medical plans, trip cancellation coverage and major medical plans. Depending on your clients’ needs, you’ll find plans for US citizens, non-US citizens, groups or individuals, plans for travel within the US, for travel outside the US, and for major medical as well as short-term emergency medical coverage.
Other Niche Products
